We don't put just anything on our shelves. So when we say Martone Street has been absolutely flying off our shelves, we mean it.
Martone Street is a premium Italian tomato sauce line crafted by Food Network's Scott Conant, an award-winning chef and restaurateur who has spent nearly four decades at the forefront of Italian cuisine. But what makes this sauce more than just a celebrity name on a jar is the story behind it.
In 1945, Scott's grandfather built the family home on Martone Street in Watertown, Connecticut, right near our Watertown store. That house became the heart of the family, filled with Sunday gatherings, simmering pots on the stove, and recipes passed down through the generations. The sauce is named in honor of that street, those meals, and the people who made them matter.
Every jar is made with simple, honest ingredients: Southern California tomatoes at their peak, California olive oil, fresh garlic, basil, and crushed red pepper. No preservatives, no citric acid, no added sugar, no seed oils, and all non-GMO. Just clean, bold, restaurant-quality flavor that's ready to make any night feel like Sunday dinner.
You can find four varieties on our shelves:
Signature Pomodoro (Tomato & Basil)
Campagna Marinara (Tomato, Onion, Olive Oil & Basil)
Arrabbiata (Calabrian Chili & Garlic)
Mediterranean Style (Garlic, Caper & Oregano)
There's something special about carrying a product that's rooted right here in town, and one that shares the same values we've built for six generations: family, quality, and food that brings people together.
Pick up a jar on your next visit. We think you'll taste the difference!
